I am a fourth year graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. My research interests include algebraic geometry, representations of Lie algebras, intersection theory, geometric Satake.

Born in Vancouver, Canada, I grew up in the cornfields of central Indiana. In 2015, I graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, with a degree in mathematics and minors in physics and music composition. I am married to the lovely Claire Kiers. My hobbies include playing piano, reading, baking, and working fun math problems.
